If you are a lover of antiques and the opportunity to visit Europe, there are some states that you must first visited. The following three countries have a flea market that could be considered the best in Europe.
Here you can find a bowl of mid-century, antique porcelain sculpture, and there may be many other interesting items that also you can get.
1. Berlin
Founded in 2004, Flohmarkt am Mauerpark (Mauer flea market) is filled with vendors selling items old and new. This is a great place to buy bicycles, hats, sunglasses vintage, old photo albums, or from mid-century furniture from an apartment in Berlin. When hungry, here too there are several dining areas green. One of the menu is worth a try Turkish food with a pile of fresh vegetables, herbed potatoes, lamb, onions, and a cup of gluhwein (wine flavored with rum).
The flea market is located near the tram stop Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Stadion (formerly Oderberger Straße) and only a short drive from the U2 Eberswalder Straße (Station). It is worth noting that the market was located in the Mauerpark, not in it. The flea market is open on Sundays only starting at 8:00 to 18:00 local time.
2. Paris
The trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to most famous flea markets in Paris, Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, usually referred to as Les Puces. This flea market is located at the Porte de Clignancourt. The stalls at les Puces open every Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00 o'clock local time, Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 o'clock local time, and Monday from 11:00 to 17:00 o'clock local time.
Many shops here which is a legacy passed down through generations of family antiques collector. So, be prepared to find stuff in a variety of price points and to keep in mind that sellers expect you to come to haggle. Two kiosks favorite here is Marche Serpette and Marche Paul Bert. Both these stores offer a variety of quality art deco furniture, prints, ancient jewelry, mirrors, and other interesting items.
3. London
London flea markets offer many options throughout the city. One of the most diverse markets are the Covent Garden (Covent Garden). Covent Garden is a district in London, England, located in the eastern part of the City of Westminster and the southwest corner of the small town of Camden. The best stuff can be found on Sundays between the hours of 11:00 to 18:00 local time but still there are many different types of markets from Monday until Saturday that is open starting at 10:00 to 18:00 local time.
In addition, there are markets that Apple is the main market in this region. Here you can find the smaller objects ranging from glass to leather goods. Most merchandise may not be quite antique but you can buy goods made by local craftsmen hand.
Still in the same area exactly in the backyard, you will find the Jubilee Market. On Monday, both the Apple Market and Jubilee Market is taken over by various antiques dealer but if you want to look for modern goods such as scarves, jewelry, t-shirts and other items, you must visit on Tuesday.
